Launch Studio-compatible apps with rare-profile.
The wallet-less rare-profile CLI and TypeScript SDK use device login and scoped Studio credentials. Use it when an agent or CI job should deploy browser apps without custody of a blockchain key.
Install and sign in
npm install -g @rareprotocol/rare-profile@0.1.0
rare-profile login
rare-profile whoamiRequires Node.js 20+. Login opens a device approval in Studio Agent Mode and stores an slk_ credential in ~/.rare-profile/config.json with mode 0600. Version 0.1.0 defaults to https://studio.superrare.com and streams app ZIPs directly to Studio instead of base64-encoding them through the commerce function.
Deploy, update, and authorize an app
# A storefront ID is still required by the compatibility API
rare-profile app deploy \
--store STORE_ID \
--title "My Studio App" \
--price 0 \
--zip ./dist.zip
rare-profile app update APP_ID --zip ./dist-v2.zip
rare-profile app token APP_IDAgent skill and SDK
rare-profile skill
import { createProfileClient } from "@rareprotocol/rare-profile";
const studio = createProfileClient({
baseUrl: "https://studio.superrare.com",
token: process.env.RARE_PROFILE_TOKEN,
});The client exchanges the personal token for short-lived session JWTs and refreshes them transparently. Exit codes are 0 for success, 1 for API or generic failure, 2 for invalid usage, and 3 for authentication failure.
What it must not do
rare-profile does not buy, move funds, mint NFTs, deploy contracts, or run auctions. The server rejects wallet and purchase scopes. Use the browser wallet for Studio payments and the separate RARE Protocol CLI for explicit private-key NFT operations.
